Salp swarm algorithm for optimal load balancing in low voltage networks

Distribution networks for low voltage (LV) are three-phase networks. It mostly serves single-phase end customers with a variety of load characteristics. Because each customer's behavior differs, the current on LV feeder is shared unequally, leading in an im-balance problem. This research investigates efficient distribution loads amongst three phase using salp swarm algorithm (SSA) to swap consumers between phases. Customers rearranged and their switched from heavy light achieve shifting. Jordan's electricity company (EDCO) has provided full as case study. The results switching show that index power losses can be decreased significantly.
